Portable Gas Grill
Camping equipment and Coleman equipment are nearly synonymous terms. For many years, people have depended on Coleman to bring them quality gear that will give them years of use. For this reason the Coleman
portable gas grill is among one of the favorites for campers and others who like to take their grilling on the road.
Coleman created the road trip grill a
portable gas grill that is unlike most portables. Other grills will be miniature or tabletop in design, however the road trip grill was made to be used as either
a full size grill or a tabletop.

Pros
The scissor legs that allow this
portable gas grill to collapse down to a convenient size are great. In addition, the Coleman Road Trip has a towing handle and locking lid, making it easier than ever to get it to and from your vehicle. You can be ready to head for the campsite, beach or tailgate party in no time flat!
Out of the box, this portable gas grill attaches to a 16.4 disposable propane bottle, which will provide you with at least two hours of steady
cooking on high. If you would like to cook all night long, it is simple to convert the grill so that you can use a 20-pound refillable bottle. All you will need is a high-pressure hose and adapter available separately.
Even though the Coleman
portable grill is smaller, you need not worry about the cooking temperature or the speed at which it will heat up. At 210,000 BTU’s, there is more than enough heat to cook anything you want to grill.
You might be concerned that as fast and hot as this portable gas grill gets you would have a long wait on cool down, not so. The Coleman cools very fast and
cleans up easily with warm soapy water.
Cons
The main downside to
this portable gas grill is the inability to cook with the lid down. If you like to smoke your meat you will be disappointed in this model. Some customers have been concerned that this would limit the flavor; however, those fears were completely unfounded.
Bottom Line
For a portable gas grill, you could do a whole lot worse than the Coleman Road Trip. This grill is
easy to use and simple to set up with options for both tabletop and full size grilling. As an added bonus, the grates are super easy to clean!
